Donna Riechmann
Let’s work together to make Greensboro an even more desirable place to live.
I believe we have the potential to continue growing the economy, jobs, and tax base and to keep encouraging community building to ensure a safe and productive quality of life. I want to give back to Greensboro because my experiences here have made it truly home for me. With the involvement of all the people of Greensboro, we can make this an even better place to be.
THERE’S NO PLACE TO LIVE THAT’S BETTER THAN GREENSBORO. A native of Illinois, I’ve traveled around the world and lived in many places. In 1985 I selected Greensboro as the best place to follow my entrepreneurial dream of starting my own management consulting business. I was fortunate to have this city as home base for my work. After 12 years in Greensboro, my work took me to Chapel Hill in 1997 and then to New York in 2004. When my work in New York City was coming to a close, my husband Geoff and I decided, out of all the places we could live, that Greensboro would be our permanent home and we moved here in early 2007.
I am motivated to serve on the City Council because this is a critical time for Greensboro. We have continued to grow; we are attracting industry players, and we have the opportunity to choose the ways in which we grow. Let’s continue to build on the significant progress that has been made.
I would appreciate your support and your vote. The primary will be held on Tuesday, October 9, and my name will be on the ballot running for City Council At Large.
